SOLUM
A man, stripped bare before the sea, fights for space to breathe, to be. He is dancing to keep the darkness at bay. He is dancing to keep shadows away. He is eyeing the distant horizon, as a plea for help and as the sea is revealed, so is the self: fragile, fractured, but defiant.
SOLUM is a dance of resistance, a fight against the creeping weight of loneliness and the darkness inside your head.
"As the darkness creeps closer, will I survive the strands? The past is catching up to me and I must beg my leave. It has been a pleasure. I am SOLUM"

LUFTSLOTT
Namnet på filmen, "Luftslott", kommer från ett ord som betyder en dröm eller idé som ser fin ut men som inte riktigt går att uppnå. Ett luftslott är som ett slott byggt av luft. Man kan säga “orealistiskt”. På detta sätt är filmen ett luftslott eftersom det som händer i filmen inte kan hända i verkligheten. Inte vänds allt upp och ner helt plötsligt, eller förändras helt på ett ögonblick, fastän det kan kännas så. Vanligtvis används uttrycket “bygga luftslott” negativt när man kanske tycker att någon har overkliga idéer och planer, men om vi inte får bygga luftslott ibland och våga drömma så vet vi inte hur långt vi kan ta oss.

OUROBOROS [the solo]
"Taking inspiration from the nature of Itaparica and his time at the residency at Instituto Sacatar, Tobias has created a library of ideas and movement qualities which he explores in his performance at MAC. Through a wish of working with subjects such as connection and disconnection in a broad sense, Tobias tries to weave them into his actions on stage, which he hopes engages the spectator”

A LIGHT TOUCH [teaser trailer]
This digital dance piece is based on personal experiences and longing for nature. Meanwhile you get confronted by the concrete, automated, and highly technical environment we tend to stay locked in.
It is about exploring the disconnection that is created when you constantly have people around you by default, while no real connections are made. It is about exploring your own spirit in hope of inspiring others along the way.
It was shortlisted as one of the top 3 of international ROOM 2022 contest organized by Flora Fauna Project. The project gathered digital work by dance artists touching on themes of environment, local environment, community and co-existence.

What could a dance for the asocial body look like? How would it appear from bodies not comfortable with being in the scene of the event where dance often happens?
This is a duet where two performers dance, move and act through characters we created a few years ago called Sven and Svenn

(UN)BOUND HAND AND FOOT [trailer]
"Do you remember the innocent pleasures of touch? This project works with frames devised to give the audience an empathetic viewing experience. With the sole focus on hands and feet the audience becomes witness to an unbiased play. This project is also an exploration of how just hands and feet can take on a full characters and build relationships to one another. The sound track was built to be strange, satisfying, ironic, playful and nostalgic which adds to the "personalities" and characterization of the hands and feet."

TRUNK ME
Trunk Me is a short dance film-concept that revolves around productivity and realization. The task was to do everything in one day. Idea, filming and editing. Trunk Me was the result. My wish is to make it an ongoing project where I will keep adding to the collection, 1-day produced dance-films.
